The Ajay-Atul composition is yet another rousing anthem, written by Javed Akhtar, for the Ashutosh Gowariker period saga.

After ‘Mard Maratha’, composers Ajay-Atul deliver another foot-thumping anthem that celebrates the Maratha victory over Delhi’s Red Fort with ‘Mann Mein Shiva’. The song features Arjun Kapoor as Sadashiv Rao Bhau as he celebrates the latest conquest of the Peshwas.

Singer Kunal Ganjawala leads the vocals for Kapoor’s Sadashiv while Deepanshi Nagar and Padmanabh Gaikwad also contribute to the melodic number. The song is peppered with chants of 'Har Har Mahadev' and fortified by the ringing of temple bells in between.

The anthem, written by Javed Akhtar, is said to pay tribute to the three Shivas – Lord Shiva, Shivaji Maharaj and Sadashiv himself. The different types of percussion instruments build-up ‘Mann Mein Shiva’ to a satisfying crescendo where you can’t help but cheer on.

The picturisation of the song shows the sheer scale of the upcoming historical by Ashutosh Gowariker. The large crowd strength, along with the large main cast and vast set, indicates that the film is not going to portray anything by halves. The choreography by Raju Khan also sets up the jubilant mood.

Panipat is due to be released on 6 December. Watch the song below and let us know if you are keen to watch the film.
