Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, has sped up its release date, and will now arrive in theatres a week after Valentine's Day on 21 February 2020. An unofficial sequel to the romantic comedy, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), this film will revolve a love story around two men.
Khurrana also shared our first glimpse of him in character along with the new release date. In the new image, he is running away from what seems like brides and grooms dressed up in wedding finery.

Producer Aanand L Rai told the daily Mumbai Mirror that their decision to move up the date was simple, "We decided on February which is also the month of love."
For Hindi film audiences, February will present a double dose of Khurrana, as his other comedy, Gulabo Sitabo (2020) with Amitabh Bachchan, hits theatres on 28 February 2020.
Hitesh Kewalya, writer of Shubh Mangal Savdhan (2017), has taken over as the director of the sequel. Actor Jitendra Kumar has been cast as Khurrana's love interest in the film, while Khurrana's Badhaai Ho (2018) parents, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta repeat the performance in this film.
