The release date of the Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi-starrer Chehre (2020) has been delayed to 24 April 2020. The thriller was slated to be released on 21 February 2020. Directed by Rumi Jaffery, the film is being produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures alongwith Saraswati Films.

The first look poster of the film, released on Saturday, 9 November captures the unique look of Bachchan alongside his co-star, Emraan Hashmi. With his beard tied up in a pony tail, the actor looks like a Bohemian artist.

Chehre will also feature Kriti Kharbanda, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor and Rhea Chakraborty alongside the two leads, Bachchan and Hashmi. The film is a suspense thriller with Bachchan playing a lawyer, and Hashmi playing a business tycoon.

In addition to Chehre, Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in Gulaabo Sitabo on 28 February 2020. Hashmi is awaiting the release of his next, The Body (2019), co-starring Rishi Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala on 13 December. Directed by Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph in his Hindi debut, Body is said to be a remake of the Spanish film El Cuerpo (2012).
