Vikram’s Kadaram Kondan shoot wrapped up

The shooting of Vikram's Tamil action thriller Kadaram Kondan, which has been produced by Kamal Haasan, has been wrapped up, its makers revealed in a statement. The film is now gearing up for release in July.
The statement added that the production is 90% complete and they will soon unveil the trailer and officially announce the release date.
The film’s first-look poster was released for Diwali and featured Vikram in a menacing avatar. The project, which has been predominantly shot in Malaysia, marks the first collaboration of Vikram and director Rajesh Selva.
The teaser was released in January and introduced us to Vikram as KK, a safe-cracking expert. At the end of the teaser, Vikram was seen wearing a Malaysian police uniform and there have been rumours that he plays an undercover cop on a special mission.
Kadaram Kondan, which happens to be the 50th film of Raajkamal International, also stars Akshara Haasan and Pooja Kumar in crucial roles. During the launch of the project in August last year, it was mentioned in a statement that this is the 45th production of Raajkamal Films.
The film, which will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu, has music by Ghibran.
While there are reports that Kadaram Kondan is a remake of Hollywood thriller Don’t Breathe, the makers have not said anything about it.
Meanwhile, Vikram will soon begin shooting for Mahaveer Karna, to be directed by RS Vimal and made on a whopping budget of Rs300 crore.
