Huma Qureshi signs on for Zack Snyder's Netflix zombie horror, Army Of The Dead

The actress will be a part of the cast which includes Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, and Ana De La Reguera.

After her Netflix dystopian drama, Leila, Huma Qureshi will be a part of Zack Snyder's next zombie drama, Army Of The Dead. The actress has been confirmed as past of Snyder's cast along with several international stars. The film is expected to begin with principal photography this July.

Army Of The Dead will be Snyder's first film since the panned 2017 DC film, Justice League. Snyder is most well known for the blockbusters, 300 (2006) and Man Of Steel (2013). 

The film will also mark the director's return to zombie-features, which defined his feature film debut, Dawn of The Dead (2004). 

Qureshi will join an international cast that includes wrester-turned-actor Dave Bautista, and actresses Ella Purnell and Ana de la Reguera. 

The actress was last seen in the Rajinikanth starrer, Kaala (2018), and will soon be seen on the Netflix dystopian drama, Leila, based on Prayaag Akbar's bestselling novel of the same name. 

Qureshi represented the liquor brand, Grey Goose, at the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival earlier this month.
