Well-known composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who opted out of Prabhas-starrer Saaho (2019) earlier this week have been replaced by popular Tamil composer M Ghibran, according to the industry grapevine.

The makers are yet to officially announce if they’ve signed M Ghibran; however, sources close to the composer have already confirmed the news.

Saaho director Sujeeth has previously worked with M Ghibran in his last film Run Raaja Run (2014). Since he shares a very friendly relationship with Ghibran, he approached him after Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy walked out of the project.

It’s worth mentioning that Ghibran has already been associated with Saaho, which is gearing up for release this August. He had composed music for the promo clip Shades of Saaho, Chapter 2.

According to a report by Firstpost.com, a source from the team was quoted saying “After Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy walked out, Sujeeth asked M Ghibran to work on two songs and the background score of the film. But on seeing the rushes, Ghibran felt that the background score of the film will take more time so he preferred to focus only on the re-recording.”

Having predominantly worked in Tamil industry and popular for films such as Theeran Adhigaram Ondru (2017) and Vishwaroopam 2 (2018), M Ghibran has worked in a few Telugu projects as well.

Meanwhile, the shoot of Saaho is on the brink of completion. The makers recently released a new poster which featured Prabhas on a bike and zooming at high speed.

Tipped to be an action thriller, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Mandira Bedi, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jackie Shroff in important roles.
