A couple, played by Sumeet Raghvan and Mrinal Kulkarni, are off for a short gateway outside the hustle and bustle of the city. They soon put the concrete jungles behind and enter a village with serene visuals of lakes and green patches.
Now, who would expect a devotional number to be played in the background in such a situation? But after watching and listening to ‘Radhe Radhe’ song from Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar’s upcoming Welcome Home, you won’t see any problem in this. In fact, the visualisation goes perfectly with the situation.
It’s a comforting number which is sure to move even those who are not into devotional songs or even don’t believe in God. Composer Parth Umrani’s voice is soothing and melodious. His music also provides a peaceful feeling. Sukhtankar, who has written the lyrics on this occasion, has come up with some impressive poetry.
The song shows Kulkarni’s character going through a mental turmoil while Raghvan tries comforting her. She expresses her emotions through her eyes and expressions effortlessly. We see countless cars moving along various highways. We don’t generally realize that each one has a story within.
Welcome Home, which is due to be released on 14 June, also stars Subodh Bhave, Mohan Agashe, Siddharth Menon, Ashwini Giri, Spruha Joshi and others.
