Producer Ronnie Screwvala took a dig at INOX Cinemas last night for not giving enough shows to his upcoming film, Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota. The producer is already fighting a case in the Competition Commission against INOX and PVR Cinemas over the payment of the Virtual Print Fee that his production house RSVP deems as "unfair and exorbitant".

It is now learnt that the film won't be releasing in any of the INOX outlets. The multiplex chain suggested RSVP pay the fee for the time being before the Competition Commission settles the matter. But that didn't work out.
A source close to the distributors said, "Inox suggested RSVP pay the fee and in case the case goes in their favour, the amount can be settled later. But RSVP has refused to pay the fee and now the film won't be releasing in any Inox cinemas. The counters have already stopped selling the tickets."
Abhimanyu Dassani, who makes his debut with the film, took a dig at the film not getting enough screens in India on Twitter. He said, "Fun fact - #MardKoDardNahiHota will be releasing in more theaters abroad than in India:)."
