Actress Alia Bhatt is on a signing spree. Not even a week has passed since the big reveal that she will be in SS Rajamouli's RRR, the actress has announced another big project. Bhatt will next be seen alongside Salman Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Inshallah. The production house revealed the news on their social media handle, with the title 'Inshallah'.

The actress confirmed the news on her Twitter handle saying, 'I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It's been a long wait.'

Khan also confirmed the same on his social media handle, welcoming Bhatt to the project.

Inshallah will mark 20 years since Khan and Bhansali have worked together. The two were part of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), before they parted ways.

Bhatt, for her part, has several big projects underway. Earlier this month, the rushes of Brahmastra, opposite Ranbir Kapoor, were revealed. In addition, she is also awaiting the release of Kalank, which opens in theatres on 17 April.

While the news of Bhansali and Khan's reunion broke in June 2018, the production house was still looking for a leading lady. The announcement of Bhatt taking the spot comes a day after the actress was spotted exiting Bhansali's office on Monday.

Khan is currently awaiting the release of Bharat, with Dabangg 3 and Kick 2 also in the pipeline.
