It has been barely two days since Salman Khan's Bharat (2019) was released on Eid yesterday and word has arrived that he has booked the festival next year for Inshallah.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film will pair him with actress Alia Bhatt for the first time. The actor also reunites with his Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) director after 20 years.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the news on Twitter.

Earlier, Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi (2020), which is currently being filmed in Bangkok, Thailand, was supposed to be released on Eid 2020. But it seems the makers of the Akshay Kumar action film have moved the film up to May 2020. This means Khan is free to release his film on Eid.

Beginning with Kick in 2014 and continuing with Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016), Tubelight (2017), and Race 3 (2018), most of Salman Khan's films have been Eid releases. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) were the exceptions.

Eid is due to fall on either 30 or 31 July next year.
