Hrithik Roshan has been dragged into a cheating complaint filed against the fitness chain, Cult.Fit. The actor is the brand ambassador of the fitness chain and was named in the complaint by a Bengaluru-based businessman alleging 'false promises' being made in the company's advertisement and lack of proper service.
The complaint, filed in Hyderabad city, states that the complainant was denied daily 'fitness sessions' despite having paid for 'unlimited' sessions with the company. The fitness chain alleges that the client 'misbehaved' with the employees and has wrongly dragged the actor into the case.
Cult.Fit is the fitness banner for the Bengaluru based startup, Cure Fit. The company was founded in 2016 by Mukesh Bansal and Ankit Nagori.
A report by the news agency PTI, quoted the complainant as stating,"Most of the time the workout session is not available which is denying good health benefits causing mental depression."
In a statement, Cult.Fit said, "The customer in question has behaved inappropriately and violently with our staff against whom we were constrained to take action. The current police complaint appears to have been hence filed subsequently against us falsely, while also mischievously dragging our celebrity brand ambassador, Hrithik Roshan, wrongly in it."
Hrithik Roshan, meanwhile, continues to prepare for the release of his upcoming film, Super 30 that hits the theatres on 12 July.
