Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao-starrer Judgementall Hai Kya saw an improved performance over the weekend, taking the film's collection to Rs19.25 crore. According to boxofficeindia.com, the film showed an improvement over its opening day collection of Rs4.25 crore. The Prakash Kovelamudi-film earned Rs7 crore on Saturday (27 July), and Rs7.75 crore on Sunday (28 July).
In contrast, Arjun Patiala finished the weekend with a poor Rs4.50 crore. In addition to the Rs1.25 crore on Friday, the film's collection stands at a paltry 5.75 crore. The coming Monday will see both films drop their returns by a fair bit. However, the chances of Judgementall Hai Kya sustaining its run looks likely.
Meanwhile, Super 30, starring Hrithik Roshan, continued its run at the counters crossing the Rs125 crore mark. The film is in its third week, and managed Rs12.25 crore on its third weekend according to boxofficeindia.com figures.
This takes the film past the earnings of Gully Boy (2019). While the metro collections in regions like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore have been on par, the film is doing well in the interiors due to its mass appeal. The tax exemptions in several states have also helped the film improve its nett collections.
If it continues, the film will cross the Rs140 crore nett earnings of Bang Bang (2014). It would make Super 30 Hrithik Roshan's second highest net grossing film.
