Last year, writer Hrishikesh Koli confirmed to Cinestaan.com that the Marathi hit Ye Re Ye Re Paisa (2018) will have a sequel. The motion poster of Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2 is now out. It was shared by actor-cum-director Hemant Dhome, who is helming the film. The first film was directed by Sanjay Jadhav.

Ye Re Ye Re Paisa review: Tries too hard to be non-stop entertainer

The motion poster only features Sanjay Narvekar, who is reprising his character of Anna from the first film. It also has the tag line ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai,’ taken from the famous Hindi song from Khoosurat (2014). Umesh Kamat, Tejaswini Pandit and Siddharth Jadhav were cast in pivotal roles in Ye Re Ye Re Paisa. It is not yet confirmed if they will be a part of the sequel.

While the first film was based in Mumbai, it seems the sequel will travel to London too. Dhome had shared a different motion poster last year which also had images of the European city.

Like Dhome, Koli is also new to the franchise. The first film was written by Sanjay Jadhav and Arvind Jagtap.

Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2 will be released on 9 August. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on 4 January.
