It’s official! Saaho postponed to 30 August to bring ‘finesse to action sequences’

Earlier this week, we reported that the release of Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor’s keenly awaited Saaho has been shifted from 15 August to 30 August. Now, the makers have officially announced that the film is indeed postponed by two weeks. 

Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham's Batla House will hit the screens on 15 August. However, the makers of Saaho have stated that the film has been postponed to work on the technical aspects of the film. 

A spokesperson on behalf of the producers said in an official statement, “We want to bring the best to the audience. For bringing finesse to the action sequences we need some more time. Although we are shifting the date from Independence Day, we want to stick to the month of Independence and patriotism with Saaho. We are dedicated to bringing the biggest movie on the largest scale.” 

However, on August 30, Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor’s Chhichhore and Rajkummar Rao’s Made In China are also scheduled to be released. This will be one of those rare Fridays that will see the release of two films of the same artiste.
