Box office: Super 30 has good first weekend, Kabir Singh becomes highest grosser of 2019

Hrithik Roshan finally had a film release after more than two years with Super 30. Even with mixed reviews, the film has had a good first weekend at the domestic box office.
The Vikas Bahl-movie made Rs50.25 crore in the first three days, as per figures shared by Boxofficeindia.com.
The film opened to a decent number of Rs11.75 crore on Friday. The following days saw a noticeable jump with Rs18 crore on Saturday and Rs20.50 crore on Sunday.
As per trade sources, Super 30 is made on a budget of Rs65 crore approximately.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kabir Singh has continued its dream run even in its fourth weekend, earning Rs9.50 crore. The grand total of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-film currently stands at a mammoth Rs256.21 crore.
The film has become the highest grosser of 2019 so far, beating Vicky Kaushal-starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike that collected a total of Rs244 crore.
Hollywood movie Spider-Man: Far From Home also had a positive third weekend as it made Rs6.15 crore. The film has so far made Rs57.64 crore in India.
