Since making her debut in Dhadak (2018), Janhvi Kapoor has signed on quite a few projects. Of these, Kargil Girl by Sharan Sharma, will see the actress join Angad Bedi to be a part of the biopic on India's first female combat pilot, Gunjan Saxena.

After finishing the first schedule of the film in Lucknow, Kapoor and Bedi are now set to head to Georgia for a rigorous schedule.

The crew will shoot in the mountainous town of Kazbegi, set 5,700 feet above sea level. In order to get set for the very rigorous demands of the film, the artistes seem to have taken up a fitness regime. A week ago, a picture of Kapoor running alongside a cycling Pankaj Tripathi went viral on social media.

Tripathi is reportedly playing Kapoor's father in the film. Meanwhile, Bedi has also hired a specialist trainer, Brinston Miranda, to get in shape for the shoot. The actor was spotted running on the streets of Mumbai, with his trainer to get back in shape.

A source close to the film confirmed, "Both Janhvi and Angad will leave in end of July to Georgia. They will shoot first in the main capital before heading to Kazbegi which is very tough terrains area pretty high above the sea level. The scenes which they are meant to shoot need a certain level of fitness from both their parts and Angad has this hired Brinston to help him be coached and be able to be in a fit shape where he can run on inclined slopes and tough terrains."

Kargil Girl is produced by Dharma Productions.
