Actors Manoj Bajpayee and Mohit Raina are coming aboard Shirish Kunder's Netflix original film, starring Jacqueline Fernandez.

Last April, the actress was announced as the lead. The thriller, which is currently in production, will feature Fernandez as a wife who decides to kill someone the same way as her serial killer husband, who is in jail. Fernandez makes her online debut with the film, produced by Kunder's wife, filmmaker Farah Khan.

Bajpayee has previously starred in Kunder's short film, Kriti, in 2016. In a statement, the actor said, "When Shirish reached out to me with this role in Mrs Serial Killer, I couldn’t delay in saying yes to it as I found the script quite engaging. This is my first film with Netflix and it has been a memorable journey with them. And about the film, as Shirish says, ‘What you see is not necessarily what you get’."

He is also part of the Amazon Prime web-series, The Family Man, directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, as a National Intelligence Agency agent who tries to balance his life and job.

Raina, who made his film debut earlier this year with Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), is also making his Netflix debut like Bajpayee and Fernandez. His web-series Kaafir is now streaming on Zee5.

"I have had a fantastic experience bringing a conflicted character to life in Mrs Serial Killer, and his dynamic with the other characters in the film only adds to the mystery surrounding him. This is my first film with Netflix and the idea of reaching over 149 million people across the world at one go is truly overwhelming," Raina stated.
