Actor Arjun Rampal is the latest face from the Hindi film industry to make his way to a web-series. The actor will be seen essaying the lead role in the Zee5 original series, The Final Call. The series will be streamed on the platform from 22 February.

The teaser of the series captures the insomniac pilot, played by Rampal, setting off on another run of his commercial airliner, while carrying capsules filled with what appears to be cocaine. The teaser also offers a peek into the suicidal mentality of Rampal's character when he says, "Memories won't let me sleep, and my conscience won't let me be at peace."

The statement is also followed by a disembodied voice saying, "This man has put the lives of people at risk before, and he is going to do it again."

The series is based on Priya Kumar's book, I Will Go With You. The book deals with the story of a pilot who decides to commit suicide, while flying a commercial jet liner, thus putting the lives of hundreds of passengers at risk.

The series is the first Zee5 original to be adapted from a novel, and marks the beginning of a new foray for the platform.
