Tigmanshu Dhulia's Milan Talkies to be released on 15 March

After a fairly long wait, director Tigmanshu Dhulia is ready with his next project, Milan Talkies. The film will be out in theatres on 15 March. Milan Talkies features Ali Fazal and is the Hindi film debut of South Indian actress Shraddha Srinath.
Produced by PS Chhatwal and FilmyKeeda productions, the film went on the floors in March last year.
Set around the quaint town of Lucknow, the film is a romantic saga built around the old world charm of single screen cinemas.
Speaking about the film, Dhulia said, "I have invested many years to make this movie one of the best love stories. It portrays a fresh love story during the time of single screens. This film is very close to my heart and I cannot wait to show it to the audience."
The film will also see Fazal take on the role of a filmmaker, with the actor even implying that it might be a partially biographical portrait of the young Dhulia. Shraddha was part of the runaway 2017 Tamil hit, Vikram Vedha.
In a recent quote to IANS, Fazal had said, "Much of what you see in the film is a young Tigmanshu Dhulia on the sets maybe. His mannerisms are infectious and his style is nothing short of coolness. For an actor to have his director as inspiration is the beginning of an education. I am still to learn lots from him."
Milan Talkies also features Reecha Sinha, Ashutosh Rana, Sanjai Mishra, Sikander Kher, among others. The dialogues for the film are written by Dhulia and Kamal Pandey.
