Vijay Sethupathi is fierce in Syeraa Narasimha Reddy first look poster


The film, gearing up for release in 2020, is being produced by Ram Charan on a lavish budget of Rs150 crore.

On the occasion of actor Vijay Sethupathi’s birthday on Wednesday, the makers of megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming Telugu historic drama Syeraa Narasimha Reddy teased fans with the first look poster of his character from the film, based on the life of Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narsimha Reddy. The makers also released a motion poster along with the poster.

According to the poster, Vijay plays a character called Raajapaandi, a right-hand man to Chiranjeevi’s character. Going by the name of the character, it looks like Vijay plays a Tamilian in the project, being directed by Surender Reddy.

Featuring long locks and thick moustache, Vijay's avatar has already caught the attention of his fans and his presence will assure that the film will have good hype in Tamil as well.

Syeraa Narasimha Reddy also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Sudeep and Prakash Raj.

In a recent media interaction, Vijay revealed that he’s really looking forward to the release of Syeraa as he has essayed one of his favourite characters. He also said that it’s a character that will see him speak Telugu, as well as Tamil.

Last seen in superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta (2019), playing a negative character, Vijay has interesting line up of projects this year as well. In Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Super Deluxe, he plays a transgender. He will be seen playing a politician in Seenu Ramaswamy’s Maamanidhan. He also has projects with director Arun Kumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum fame.
