Pankaj Tripathi to share screen space with Chris Hemsworth in Netflix original film Dhaka

Pankaj Tripathi seems to be on a roll. After being named among the cast of Kabir Khan’s '83, Tripathi will share screen space with Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth in a Netflix original film titled Dhaka.
Hemsworth was in India last year when he shot for Sam Hargrave’s film that also has other Indian actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Randeep Hooda. Hemsworth shot a schedule in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
Sources close to Tripathi revealed that the actor has left for Bangkok, Thailand, to shoot for the next leg of the film. Tripathi is said to be playing a pivotal character in the film and will be sharing screen space with Hemsworth.
Hemsworth has become a global actor for playing the superhero Thor in the Marvel franchise. Dhaka is Tripathi’s maiden international project.
Tripathi shot to limelight with Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur (2012) franchise where he played Sultan Qureshi. Tripathi has emerged as one of the top actors in the country with stellar performances in films like Newton (2017), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) and Gurgaon (2017).
He was also seen in the Amazon Prime Video Original web-series, Mirzapur, in the lead role as Kaleen Bhaiya in 2018.
