While it is a completely new franchise and a different production, the makers of Street Dancer seem to be bringing the team of ABCD 2 (2015) together. The latest still captures actor Varun Dhawan and Prabhu Deva going head to head as they play the two dancers in the film. The film will also feature Shraddha Kapoor and will be released on 8 November 2019.

To be shot entirely in 3D, the makers are reportedly aiming to set 'new standards' in dance. While it is based on the similar format of the earlier franchise of ABCD - Any Body Can Dance, the film is a completely new production and will focus on many local and international dance forms.

The poster seems to hint at a confrontation between the characters played by Dhawan and Prabhu Deva. While they played mentor and mentee in the earlier franchise, the new production seems to pit their two dancing styles against each other.

The next schedule for the film is set to begin on 11 February in London with Prabhu Deva and Dhawan in tow. The cast will be joined by Kapoor on the schedule later, which will go on till March.

The film will also feature Sonam Bajwa and Nora Fatehi among others.

Street Dancer is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kishan Kumar and Lizelle D'Souza, and directed by Remo D'Souza.
