The actor was also part of Kashyap's breakthrough two-part magnum opus Gangs Of Wasseypur (2012).

The Taapsee Pannu-Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh is based on the life and achievements of septuagenarian shooting champions Chandro and Prakashi Tomar.

The film was initially titled Womaniya but was renamed following a title rights dispute with Pritish Nandy Communications.

Saand Ki Aankh is the directorial debut of Hiranandani who wrote Ek Villain (2014), Dishoom (2016), A Flying Jatt (2016) and Half Girlfriend (2017). The film is being co-produced by Kashyap, Shibashish Sarkar and Nidhi Parmar.

In addition to Saand Ki Aankh, Vineet Kumar Singh will also be seen in the upcoming Netflix series, Bard Of Blood, alongside Emraan Hashmi.
