Actor Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Jhund is set to be released on 20 September 2019. Making the announcement on Twitter, producer T-Series also released the first look of the film. Bachchan's face is not seen, but the man is hoisted by the jubilant players.

Jhund is Sairat (2016) director Nagraj Manjule’s maiden Hindi film. The film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, a Nagpur-based retired sports teacher who founded Slum Soccer programme.
Jhund is co-produced by T-Series, and Savitaraj and Raaj Hiremath’s Tandav Films. Savitaraj and Raaj hold the rights to Barse’s story with Bachchan playing the inspirational soccer coach. Jhund is a maiden sports-based film for Bachchan.
