Jitendra Joshi will be seen next in the lead role in the movie Choricha Mamla. Produced by Swaroop Studios and presented by Everest Entertainment, the film has been written and is being directed by Priyadarshan Jadhav.

The film will see Joshi play a man called Nandan. The makers have released the first poster of the film which has a cartoon image of the actor. He is seen dressed as an office-going middle-class man with a bag.

We can see him through a keyhole. He is seen hiding with a torch in hand, a finger on his lips. The poster also has images of telephone receivers and locks. All this, coupled with Joshi’s expression, give us the idea that the film might be a comical mystery.

Joshi is playing the titular character after quite some time. He was last seen as the main lead in Baghtos Kay... Mujra Kar (2017), which was directed by Hemant Dhome.

Choricha Mamla is Jadhav’s next directorial venture after Maska (2018), which had an ensemble cast of Aniket Vishwasrao, Prarthana Behere, Chinmay Mandlekar, Shashank Shende and Pranav Raorane.

Jadhav has, however, been more of an actor all these years. He will be seen next on screen in Sameer Vidwan’s political drama Dhurala (2010) which is being released on 3 January 2020.

Choricha Mamla will be released on 31 January 2020.
