The Sonakshi Sinha-starrer Khandaani Shafakhana (2019) has had a poor first weekend at the Indian box office. After opening at a number as low as Rs75 lakh on Friday, the film didn’t show any sort of a substantial growth in the next two days.
The first weekend numbers of Shilpi Dasgupta's directorial debut stand at a mere Rs2.85 crore, as per figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com.
As per trade sources, Khandaani Shafakhana is made at a cost of Rs20 to Rs25 crore. With an overall total as low as it is, the film virtually stands no chance at the box office.
