Last night, Salman Khan made a surprise announcement on his official Twitter page. The actor revealed that his upcoming film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Inshallah, will not be releasing on Eid 2020, which falls in May. He is paired opposite Alia Bhatt in the movie.
“The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!,” said Khan. The latter part of his tweet indicated that the actor will have another film instead, on Eid next year.

Veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet confirmed that there will be another Salman movie on the festival next year. “Salman Khan makes big announcements... Inshallah - the film that reunites Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali - won't arrive on Eid 2020. Salman will retain Eid 2020 release week. Will bring another film instead,” he said.

Apart from Inshallah, Khan has Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2 up his sleeve. It is possible that the actor is referring to this film as his next Eid release. However, there hasn’t been any confirmation on the same.
Earlier this year, Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar, was scheduled to release on next Eid. However, the film moved to an earlier date, 27 March 2020 after Khan decided to release Inshallah on Eid.
