The Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy-starrer Made In China (2019) was earlier supposed to release on 30 August. But as Prabhas’s next Saaho was shifted to the same day, Made In China moved out of the expected clash.
Now, as per a report on the website Bollywood Hungama, the makers of Made In China have decided for a Diwali release for the film instead. This would mean that the film will now clash with the multi-starrer Housefull 4 and Saand Ki Aankh, which features Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar.
The publication quoted a source saying, “A meeting took place some time back between the team of Maddock Films and its other partners Jio Studios and AAA Films. They realized that Diwali is an ideal time to bring this film. The mood at that time is upbeat and Made In China will just be the right film that viewers would want to see.”
We tried contacting Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films for confirmation, but didn't get a response.
Made In China is the Hindi film debut of director Mikhil Musale. He previously directed the Gujarati film Wrong Side Raju (2016), which was produced by the now defunct production house, Phantom Films.
