My heart goes out to the people of Bihar: Hrithik Roshan reacts on Bihar's deadly floods


The actor recently played Anand Kumar, the famous mathematician from Bihar in Super 30 (2019).

Hrithik Roshan recently played the role of Anand Kumar, the famous mathematician from Bihar. The actor went through a transformation different from his usual avatar in order to get into the skin of a person hailing from Bihar. 

The actor has now expressed his anguish over the recent floods in Bihar that have disrupted the normal life over there. The actor wrote on his official Twitter page, “My heart goes out to the people in Bihar. While the unfortunate floods in the state have left the nation heartbroken, I hope and pray that God blesses the people with the strength to emerge out of the calamity at the earliest.” 

As per reports, the floods in the state have claimed 130 lives, and has affected as many as 88 lakh people. Similarly, there have been devastating floods in other regions like Assam and Gujarat as well. 

Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 also stars Mrunal Thakur, Aditya Srivastava and Virendra Saxena. The film has become a clean hit at the box office after it was released on 12 July. It has earned 131.28 crore in the three weeks so far, making it Roshan’s first proper hit after Agneepath (2012).
