There seems to be no love for Prashant Singh's Jabariya Jodi (2019) as it earned just Rs1.25 crore nett on Tuesday, its first working day after release. The romantic comedy also had a low opening of Rs2.75 crore on Friday, according to figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com.
It gained a bit on the holiday weekend, making Rs3.75 crore on Saturday and Rs4.50 crore nett on Sunday, but fell again on Monday, the Eid holiday, with Rs2.25 crore nett.
With two big films, Batla House (2019) and Mission Mangal (2019), arriving on Independence Day, the prospects for Jabariya Jodi's collections seem slim.

Jon Favreau's reimagining of the 1994 animation classic of the same name inched towards Rs150 crore nett at the Indian box office in its fourth week. It made approxiametely Rs8 crore over the long weekend.
