These days, trailers tend to be lengthy and reveal a lot about the film's story. But it is the opposite as far as the trailer of director Rajendra Talak’s Miranda House is concerned. First, the trailer is just a little over 33 seconds long. Even so-called teasers these days are longer.
Therefore, one doesn’t get a clear idea about the story of Miranda House. However, this could be intentional. Even without clarity about the story, the trailer looks promising.
What we can guess is that a woman named Mohini has given Pallavi Shubhash’s character the job of finishing off a guy named Samar.
She meets a man (Sainkeet Kamat) and realizes that Mohini has assigned the same job to him as well. We are given a hint that Milind Gunaji plays Samar in the film and he lives at Miranda House.
Miranda House seems to be a sleekly shot crime thriller. With the sound design handled by Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty, that department is expected to be top-notch. Pookutty was also the sound designer on Talak’s previous film A Rainy Day (2014), which captured some mesmerizing sounds of rain.
Pallavi Subhash made a comeback in Marathi films last year with Ghar Hota Menacha (2018). This is her follow-up film. She has also acted in quite a few popular television serials like Kasamh Se (2008) and Mahabharat (2013).
This is Kamat’s first film. He is known for his role in the popular Marathi television serial Ratris Khel Chale.
Miranda House is due to be released on 19 April. Watch the trailer below and let us know if you would be interested in watching this film.
