For the first time, Indian critics came together to give away the honours for the best in film for the year 2018. Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun and Rahi Anil Barve’s Tumbbad, co-directed with Adesh Prasad, walked with four and three wins each.

Raazi’s Alia Bhatt was adjudged Best Actress, while Vineet Kumar Singh from the hard-hitting (pun intended) Mukkabaaz won Best Actor. Besides the films from the popular Hindi film industry, the critics also singled out the best in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi and Bengali languages.
