Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt receive special visit from president of India on Brahmastra sets

The cast and crew of Brahmastra received a very special guest in the president of India, Ramnath Kovind, and the president of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, on their sets in Bulgaria on Wednesday (5 September). Kovind paid a visit to the team with his wife Savita Kovind, post his address at the Sofia University and the Bulgaria-India business forum.
The dignitaries were welcomed by actor Ranbir Kapoor, while director Ayan Mukerji and actress Alia Bhatt joined him in the discussions later. The pictures posted by the office of the president show the team in deep discussion with the guests.

One picture has Mukerji, perhaps, trying to explain the experience and concept of working in Bulgaria for the film. The two dignitaries also posed with the entire crew in front of the green screen, which is a key element of Mukerji's superhero film.
Brahmastra is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is part of a trilogy to be directed by Mukerji. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, alongwith Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna. The two senior actors were absent from the event, as they are back in India post their schedules for the film.
Brahmastra is set to be released on 15 August 2019.
In addition to Brahmastra, Bhatt will also be seen in Karan Johar's Kalank, and Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. Kapoor has the Yash Raj Productions's Shamshera lined up next.
