Director Satish Rajwade's Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 3, the third film in the Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai franchise, has already got postponed a couple of times this year.
The film, starring the hit pair of Swwapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve, is now scheduled to be released on 7 December. The teaser is out and gives positive vibes about the film.
Gautam (Joshi) and Gauri (Barve) met for the first time in unusual circumstances in Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai (2010). After some problems, the two got married in Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2 (2015). So, what will happen in the third part?
The teaser shows that like many other married couples, Gautam and Gauri are set to become parents as their marriage completes three years. But we will have to wait for the trailer to know the conflict element in the storyline.
The humour in the teaser, especially in the clinic scene, promises a light-hearted journey.
Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 3 marks the first time a Marathi film is having a sequel to a sequel and comes after the first two parts achieved good success at the box office. In fact, the second film had clashed not just with another big Marathi film, Katyar Kaljat Ghusali (2015), but also with the Salman Khan biggie Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015), and still gone on to become a hit.
