After the success of Golmaal Again (2017), Ajay Devgn was to be seen in the comedy Total Dhamaal, which was being lined up for a 7 December release this year.

However, fans will not get to see Devgn on the big screen this year as the Indra Kumar film has been pushed to 2019. Devgn made this announcement on Twitter and also announced the release date for his other film, De De Pyaar De.

“December date with you looks challenging, but still keeping my February date! Due to extensive VFX work, Total Dhamaal will now release on 22nd Feb and De De Pyaar De moves to 26th April,” Devgn tweeted.

Total Dhamaal being pushed to next year is a wise decision, for the Indra Kumar film would have come just one week after the release of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's 2.0.

Total Dhamaal is the third film in the Dhamaal franchise, after Dhamaal (2007) and Double Dhamaal (2011). Devgn shares screen space with Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the film.

De De Pyaar De, which was initially supposed to be released on 22 February, has now been pushed to 26 April. The film will come a week after the release of Dharma Productions' Kalank.

De De Pyaar De is being produced by Luv Ranjan. Devgn will be seen with Tabu in the romantic comedy.
