It’s a double whammy for Ayushmann Khurrana. The holdover release Andhadhun has crossed Rs50 crore nett, while his Dussehra week release Badhaai Ho has raced to Rs44.25 crore nett in the extended weekend, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.
Badhaai Ho, that was released on 18 October, grew well on Saturday and Sunday, bagging Rs12.25 crore nett and Rs13.25 crore nett. The Sunday figure is the highest single-day collection for a Khurrana film. Made at an estimated budget of Rs30 crore, Badhaai Ho was released in more than 200 screens in India.
Namaste England, the other Dussehra week release, had a poor extended weekend, collecting Rs6.10 crore. Made at an estimated budget of Rs55 crore, Namaste England was released in more than 1,800 screens in India. The film, starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, is all but doomed.

With Badhaai having an impressive extended weekend, the film, directed by Amit Sharma, could well surpass Andhadhun in the next week or so. Andhadhun is made at an estimated budget of Rs25 crore and was released in 800 screens.
