British rapper Riz Ahmed is all set to launch his single 'Mogambo' on 3 October. For those initiated, Mogambo is the name of the iconic villainous character played by Amrish Puri in Shekhar Kapoor’s Mr. India (1987). On Saturday (29 September), Ahmed was a guest at Jimmy Kimmel talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he made Kimmel recite the famous dialogue from the film - 'Mogambo Khush hua [Mogambo is pleased]’.

The singer has now got Hollywood star, Tom Hardy, to not only promote his single but also say the iconic dialogue. “Tom Hardy gives us his best #mogambo - what’s the verdict? Think u can do better?  Post urs here with #mogambo before the single drops Oct 3rd..,” Ahmed tweeted.

Hardy, who has achieved fame playing the bad guy Bane in The Dark Knight Rises (2012), will surely win more fans in India after this video. Like Amrish Puri, Hardy too has a heavy voice.

The actor will be seen in Venom that hits the screens on 5 October.

While other celebrities and fans have been posting videos of 'Mogambo khush hua'. It’s just not men, but children and women, too, are hooked by the iconic dialogue.

Feminist femme fatale #Mogambo 😂 🙈 Can’t wait for the track @rizmc !!!,” tweeted this female.

This little kid seemed too shy as he says the dialogue in jiffy.

As Ahmed gets to release his single, it is a good time to revisit the original Mogambo again.
