Since the death of his wife, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor has found a strong support system in his family. Arjun Kapoor has not only stepped up as the elder brother to Janhvi and Khushi, but also as a dotting son to his father. Now, the father-son duo are set to team up together for another massy entertainment film.

Boney reportedly confirmed that work on the project is underway in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, a tabloid.

The producer had last teamed up with his son on Tevar (2016) directed by Amit Sharma. The film starred Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, with Manoj Bajpayee playing the antagonist. However, Tevar failed to spark any magic at the box office. This has not dissuaded the duo. The report quoted a source suggesting that Boney will now be partnering up with Zee Studios for a project with Arjun in the lead.

Incidentally, Zee Studios is also the key producer of Janhvi Kapoor's debut film, Dhadak, alongside Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

The report also quoted Boney as saying, "Yes, Arjun and I are doing a film together which I will produce with Zee Studios. Once the other details are confirmed, I will make an official announcement."

The film will be another addition to Arjun's increasing bank of commitments this year. The actor is set to shoot for Namastey England with Parineeti Chopra, and the film will be released in October.

Post that, the actor will begin work on Ashutosh Gowariker's period epic, Panipat, with Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. Arjun also has Raj Kumar Gupta's India's Most Wanted, which will go on floors in August.
