The emotional number focuses on the breakup of the Veere's Kareena Kapoor Khan and her fiance, played by Sumeet Vyas.

The lead up to a wedding can be most stressful. Many promises and fears have to be negotiated.

In this latest song, 'Aa Jao Na' from Veere Di Wedding, Kareena Kapoor Khan's character, Kalindi, breaks off her wedding saying the burden of maintaining the familial relationships and expectations is too much for her. Her fiance, Rishabh (Sumeet Vyas) silently watches, hurt, as she walks away from their relationship.

The song explores the aftermath of Kalindi's decision. Written by Raj Shekhar, 'Aa Jao Na' is beautifully sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Sachdev.

Sachdev has also composed the tune which seems like a natural fit for Singh's voice. His vocals bring a likable quality to this number that asks a beloved stay and not leave.

The best part of 'Aa Jao Na' is that its music doesn't overwhelm Singh's voice and allows the simple melody to flow.

Raj Shekhar's lyrics pose the question sweetly - Aa jao na, aa jao na, itna bhi kya soch na? [Please come back, why do you have to think about it?].

The answer to Rishabh's plea will likely be revealed once the film is released. Shashanka Ghosh's Veere Di Wedding, also starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania, will hit the screens on 1 June 2018.
