Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Instagram debut gets lukewarm response

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan finally made her debut on Instagram yesterday (11 May). As her first post, the actress chose to share an old silhouette image of her and her daughter Aaradhya.

However, Rai Bachchan got creative and divided the picture in nine parts and shared it in nine different posts. One can see the entire picture only when all the posts are seen together.

However, the famed actress has recieved a lukewarm response with only 1,15,000 followers so far. Reports also suggest that Rai Bachchan is upset with the low number of followers on her social media debut.

Surprisingly, except for husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, none of the big Hindi film celebrities welcomed her on the social media channel.

Another factor gone against the actress is that her account has not yet been verified and made official with the blue checkmark. This confuses fans as there are numerous unofficial pages with Rai Bachchan’s name on Instagram.

Coming to films, the actress will be next seen in Atul Manjrekar's Fanne Khan, to be released on 13 June.
