A person has allegedly misused actress Urvashi Rautela’s Aadhaar card details to book a room in a hotel in Bandra, Mumbai through online booking. A case has been registered at the Bandra plice station against the unknown alleged fraudster.

Co-incidentally, Rautela was at the same hotel for a professional meeting when the hotel staff informed her that a room had been booked in her name in the hotel through an online portal. “I asked my secretary about it and learnt that there is no booking being done (in my name) and someone has misused my Aadhaar card details to book a room in the hotel,” said the actress while talking to The Times Of India.

A case has been registered against the unknown person for cheating and impersonation. “Preliminary probe has revealed that the fraudster has used her name, address details and her photo to book the room online. However the Aadhaar card number does not match. Probe is on to know the motive behind it,” said a police officer.

Rautela was last seen in Vishal Pandya’s Hate Story IV, which was released earlier this month. The film, where she played the lead, performed average at the box office.
