Actor and politician Kamal Haasan, who has been intensifying his political activities ever since he announced his decision to enter politics, has claimed that the first order that he will sign, if and when elected as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, will be to create the Lokayukta (anti-corruption authority ombudsman).

The actor made this statement during a media interaction after he paid a visit to a private college in Ponneri in Tamil Nadu.

When a scribe asked him what his first order if elected chief minister would be, the actor replied, "I will sign the order that will bring the Lokayukta into force. My first signature as chief minister will be for that."

Earlier, while addressing the students, Haasan said, "When I was in cinema, I gave you tickets and got money from you. Now, I have come to do my duty. Students, be aware! When you complete your education and come out of college, you will find politics and corruption. You need to be people who know politics. I expect that from you. There are some who prevent me from going to schools and colleges. But they cannot stop my imagination."
