Amitabh Bachchan has strongly opposed the idea of building a museum dedicated to him in Juhu, the locality in Mumbai where he resides. Ameet Satam, the MLA (member of legislative assembly) from BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) had proposed the idea in the Maharashtra state assembly on 16 March.
Bachchan reacted to the news via his Twitter handle. “Not approved AT ALL .. it shall not be done !!” he wrote. The angry emoticon he used in the tweet clearly expresses his disapproval.

Not many know that there already exists a temple dedicated to Bachchan in Kolkata. Built by an ardent fan, Sanjay Patodia, the temple hosts all the rituals usually carried out for a Hindu deity. However, Bachchan has never appreciated this act and has made it clear that it embarrasses him.
On the work front, the actor last night revealed that the eventful Jodhpur shoot schedule of his keenly awaited Thugs Of Hindostan has been wrapped up. The actor also shared a couple of pictures of him returning to Mumbai.
Bachchan had taken ill during the shoot in Jodhpur and a team of doctors were rushed from Mumbai. He recovered and resumed shooting soon after. The film also stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
