Salman Khan's co-actor Pooja Dadwal from Veergati battling TB, left penniless

Buzz has it that actress Dadwal's call for help to Khan yielded no response.

Former actress Pooja Dadwal, who had worked with Salman Khan in the 1995 film Veergati, is suffering from tuberculosis, and is admitted to Shivadi Hospital in Mumbai. Dadwal had played the character of Pooja, Atul Agnihotri's girlfirend in the film.

According to a report in Bombay Times, the actress has been hospitalised for the past two weeks. When we called the hospital, they confirmed that Dadwal had been admitted for the past 15 days, but refused to divulge more details.

The report said Dadwal had approached Khan for help, but in vain. Khan's Being Human foundation is known for its chartiable works.

“I learned 6 months ago that I had something as serious as TB. I tried to contact Salman Khan for help, but nothing has been done so far. If he looks at my video then maybe he will try to offer some help. I have been admitted to this hospital for the last 15 days. I have been doing casino management in Goa for the last several years. I have no money at all, I depend on others for even a cup of tea,” Dadwal told Navbharat Times.

According to the buzz, Dadwal was abandoned by her husband and in-laws, and couldn't afford to foot medical bills.
