Over the years, Salman Khan has tried his hands on various aspects of filmmaking. He has already made a mark as an actor, singer, producer and even TV host. The star will now don the hat of a lyricist.

Khan has penned a romantic song for his upcoming and keenly awaited Race 3, as reported by Mumbai Mirror, a tabloid. The song is picturised on him and lead actress Jacqueline Fernandez.

According to the report, the team was trying to find a suitable romantic song to go with a sequence in the film. At this moment Khan revealed that he has written one. The makers liked it and the song was recorded.

Talking about the song, producer Ramesh Taurani of Tips told the tabloid, “It’s a lovely romantic track, exactly what we were looking for. This is the first time Salman’s name will appear in the credits as a lyricist.”

It seems Race 3 will be high on music. Fernandez has shot a special reprised version of Madhuri Dixit’s iconic ‘Ek Do Teen’ song, originally from the cult film Tezaab (1988). The reprised version will be out today (16 March).

Sonakshi Sinha has also shot a dance number with the entire cast, which includes Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah.
