Since their arrival in Mumbai, actor-singer Nick Jonas and actress Priyanka Chopra are spending some downtime with the actress's family. With Jonas in tow, the entire family took off for a quiet vacation in Goa. Chopra even shared an Instagram story, marking her brother, Siddharth, and Nick Jonas as her two 'favourite men' at a beach in Goa.
Chopra arrived with Jonas in Mumbai, early morning on 22 June, and quietly slipped out of the Mumbai international airport. The actress and Jonas were later spotted having dinner with her mother Madhu and brother at the popular Bandra eatery, Yauatcha the following day. The dinner was also the first public appearance of the two together, even posing for the media gathered outside.
The dinner seems to have gone well with Jonas even posting a short video of Priyanka enjoying the Mumbai rains on the balcony of her Juhu home. The pop singer tagged the video with a heart-eyed emoji saying 'Her'.
While the easy chemistry between the two is apparent, there are several reports which suggest that the relationship is progressing smoothly.
Priyanka soon took off with the family, and Jonas, for a short vacation in Goa on Sunday. The actress seemed to be enjoying her time away from the limelight as she joined cousin, Parineeti, in performing a rain dance in Goa. Swaying to the hit song from Mohra (1994), 'Tip Tip Barsa Paani', the actress was enjoying her time at the beach.
The actress's Instagram story also revealed an interesting detail about Jonas. Priyanka clicked a picture of her brother, Siddharth, and Nick Jonas posing at the beach. Tagging the picture as 'my favourite men', Chopra seemed to make it clear where Jonas stood in her life.
There are also reports suggesting that the couple were spotted wearing 'promise rings', as a sign of their commitment towards each other.
Having returned early, Parineeti Chopra was quoted by NDTV.com as saying, "It was a great catch up time. It was like a family trip and there were friends with us too. So it was a friends and a family trip actually. It was short and sweet. I was there for like 24 hours and I had a great time. It was a great trip." While Parineeti did not mention Nick Jonas, it is quite obvious that the vacation was a very succesful introduction to the family.
Priyanka and Jonas returned to Mumbai today, with the actress even posting an image of herself 'exhausted' on the plane ride back home.
On the work front, Priyanka is set to begin shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat (2019) alongside Salman Khan.
With rumours of a soon-to-be announced engagement and an upcoming memoir, Unfinished, it looks like the actress has her hands full.
