Actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli have been sent a legal notice by Arhhan Singh. The cricketer had shared a video of Sharma condemning the Mumbai-based man for throwing garbage on the road from his luxury car.

As per reports, Singh has sent a notice demanding an apology from the couple for allegedly defaming him.

While speaking to television channel, Zee News, Singh said, “My legal advisors have sent a notice to Mr. Virat Kohli and Mrs. Anushka Sharma Kohli. As the ball is in their court, no comments now...as in all fairness I should await their response.”

The video was shared by Kohli on his official Twitter page on 16 June: “Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma,” he had written.

It was later found that Singh has acted in well-known Hindi films like Raja (1995), English Babu Desi Mem (1996) and Paathshaala (2010).
