After sharing the screen in Pratim D Gupta’s Ahare Mon, Ritwick Chakraborty and Parno Mittra will be again seen together in Mainak Bhaumik's upcoming film Happy Pill.

However, the two will play siblings in the upcoming film. Siddhartha (Chakraborty) is a meritorious medical student, who, due to the lack of financial aid, leaves his course mid-way. He also realises that people around him only pretend to be happy. Even his sister (Mittra) is insecure about her dark complexion and is always depressed.

Siddhartha decides to make a 'happiness' pill that will cure the sadness around him. But what he considers to be a revolutionary act, doesn’t lead to a favourable ending.

The recently released teaser offers glimpses into an intriguing storyline that critiques modern society. Also, it draws the outlines of each of the characters in the film.

Happy Pill also stars Rajatava Dutta, Mir Afsar Ali and Sohini Sarkar.

The film is scheduled to hit the screens in the month of July this year.
