Director Sriram Raghavan’s next was earlier titled Shoot The Piano Player. But they changed the title and the new one Andhadhun was revealed creatively by the film’s lead actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Radhika Apte.

Now, the first look poster of the film is out and it has Raghavan’s characteristic quirkiness written all over it. Andhadhun comes after Raghavan's Badlapur (2015), that featured Varun Dhawan.

The poster doesn’t feature any of the film’s actors. It is an image of a pair of dark sunglasses breaking in the middle.

This may initially appear as an ordinary image. On a second look, zooming into the image reveals the quirkiness of the poster. Knives, a cup of tea, money,   a cat, suitcase, musical notes, keys of a piano, syringes, scalpel are all falling out of the broken glasses. Among the things is also a walking stick for the blind. The creatives seem in line with the title, Andhadhun, which means randomly. The objects also hint at the presence of a visually challenged character.

The film also stars Tabu and Chhaya Kadam, who is known for her performances in the Marathi films like Nude (2018) and Redu (2018).

Andhadhun will be out in theatres on 31 August.
