Fire breaks out in Prabhadevi building where Deepika Padukone owns a flat

A fire broke out at the Beau Monde apartments in the Prabhadevi area of Mumbai. The fire took place in a flat in the B wing on the 33rd floor. As per reports, six fire engines and five jumbo water tankers have been rushed to the spot.
Over 90 people have been rescued so far, as per information by the news agency ANI. The fire has been graded level three by the fire department. It was initially graded level two.
Incidentally, Hindi film star Deepika Padukone owns a flat on the 26th floor of the building where the fire took place. While the actress is away for a brand endorsement assignment, her staff present in her home was rescued by the firefighters.
Along with the fire brigade, the Mumbai police, too, is offering help to control the situation. “Our staff & Fire Brigade is on the spot for assistance. They are trying their best to douse the fire and provide necessary help to people there,” said the official Twitter handle of Mumbai police.
The Mumbai police is currently trying to find out the cause of fire.
